On a mission to empower upward mobility, Flockjay CEO Shaan Hathiramani made the bold choice to pivot Flockjay’s offerings from tech sales bootcamps to B2B SaaS. That’s when Shaan approached me to design an MVP for Flockjay’s brand new web app: Elevate. Elevate is a knowledge-driven learning platform designed to address various challenges of distributed sales and customer success teams, focused on helping SDRs (Sales Development Representatives) advance their knowledge and careers using preexisting wisdom from their colleagues. It is recognized by GGV in the SMB Tech Top 50 Company list.

At Flockjay, I worked directly with the CEO, Shaan Hathiramani, as the Product Design Lead. We started with a completely blank slate. Ideating with hand-drawn sketches to mid-fidelity wireframes, all the way to complete high-fidelity responsive designs, I had the pleasure of continuing to play a formative role in shaping Elevate’s offerings and UI, designing beyond the MVP and lead the platform’s designs as a whole. Elevate is now a fully functioning responsive web app currently in market serving tech sales teams throughout the USA.

<aside> 🖥️ Product Highlights

• A web app that serves as the virtual sales floor for SDRs to upload content surrounding past and ongoing deals in order to help each other improve their processes and achieve sales quotas faster

• A News Feed which acts as the sales team hub the latest/top content, prompts to help users contribute their own wisdom, and a leaderboard for some healthy competition

• A Library of content where all of the lessons learned from past deals are stored, and organized by various categories

• A ‘Classroom’ where the team can watch a colleague’s content, discuss it in the comments section, and make private or public notes to help themselves improve

• Learning Paths and Courses—curated guides and lesson plans to help SDRs level up in specific areas systematically

• A Dashboard where SDRs and managers can view their team’s involvement and progress in quantifiable terms
